Information for Youth

The Vermont Green Youth Program is designed to help youth living in difficult circumstances access trainings and certifications that lead to successful employment in green jobs.  Through the Vermont Green Youth Program, young adults ages 16-22 explore their skills and strengths, identify a green job of interest, and create a plan to pursue their goal.

A Vermont Green case manager supports youth through the entire process, from identifying skills and interests to finding trainings to job placement and follow-up support.  From weatherization to eco-adventures, the green job possibilities are endless. Come join us—contact your local youth program agency.
